Q: Where are you located?

A: South Pacific Physical Therapy is located at 4940 Van Nuys Blvd., STE 301 Sherman Oaks, CA 91403 and 8539 W. Sunset Blvd., #19 West Hollywood, CA 90069. We currently have two locations to reach the greater Los Angeles area.

Q: What insurances do you take?

A: All of these listed below:

  • Anthem Blue Cross PPO

Q: What should I wear to my session?

A: You should generally wear loose and comfortable clothing that easily exposes the area we are treating. 

Q: What can I expect during my first session?

A: Please arrive in a timely manner with your picture ID and prescription. You may fill out the new patient paperwork via our website or you may arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment to fill it out in the office. A Doctor of Physical Therapy will evaluate you based on your past medical history, symptoms, range of motion, muscle testing and neurological response. The Physical Therapist will then form a plan for you based on their findings that will address your short term and long term goals. We will tailor an exercise program based on your impairments and functional limitations that will achieve your specific goals. 

Q: Can I come in without a prescription?

A: Yes, this is called direct access. In the state of California you can be seen without a prescription for up to 12 sessions. After 12 sessions, however,  you will need a prescription from a doctor.
*Please note that this does not apply if you have Medicare or insurance through Motion Picture as they require prescriptions to start physical therapy. 

Q: What are the cash rates?

A: It is $175 for the initial session and $100 for each follow up session.

Q: What other services do you provide?

A: We offer cupping, scraping, and Normatec compression boot services for $25 each.
